Suggest Treatment For Significant, Continuous Pain In Back And Hip Area
I have significant, continuous pain/stiffness in my lower right back and hip area. Recent MRI results indicated I have "transitional lumbosacral vertebra with pseudoarthrosis formation of the transverse process of L5 and the sacrum on the right". the pain is constant and I take far too much advil in order to manage the pain. What are my options that are available to manage the symptoms or address the problem? thank you, Greg
Dear Greg.i m very sorry to hear that.you have constant lower back pain and stiffness . It is in your case related to age.with increasing age there is wear and tear of bones with new bone formation that is not formed in normal position causing pain and stiffness .you need to do some extension exercises, start using lower back support that is in the form of belt.you can increase the dose of painkiller after discussing with your doctor.you can use some topical pain killers ointment these have no systemic side effects . Hope this will help.
