Hi i am on the 4th day of 2.5 mg of cipralex (small dose to start as i dont tollerate drugs well) and am having side effects. I had been on 45mg of mirtazapine for 8 months but it didnt help with my pd so my psych told me to reduce down to 15mg over 2 week period then stop, have 5 days clear then start cipralex. As i feel i came off mirt too quickly i had bad nausea for 3 weeks and now ive started cipralex the nausea, diarrhoea is worse and ive not eaten prperly in past 3 weeks. I also get the sensation of a hot belly which gets red and itches, plus im not sleeping well. Will all of these side effects disappear shortly as i am really struggling day to day.
