Suggest Treatment For Severe Spinal Pain

I have severe spinal pain along with shoulder and neck pain. I have psoriatic arthritis. My doctor gave me a sample of Ravilia (10 capsules) to try to see if it will help me get some relief. There was no literature with the sample so I don t know the restrictions as to what I can do I.e. Enjoy a glass of wine. Or two. I look forward to receiving your response. Thank You.

Hello!

My name is Dr. Aida and I am glad to attend you on Healthcaremagic!

Your symptoms are suggestive of irradiating nerve pain, probably related to a bulging intervertebral disc in the cervical column.
For this reason, I would recommend performing a nerve conduction study and a cervical spine MRI study.
Regarding Ravilia, I would not recommend using this drug for a long time, as it may lead to addiction and tolerance. In this regard, Gabapentine or pregabaline would help improve the pain, without these adverse effects if used for a long time.
Hope you will find this answer helpful!
I remain at your disposal for any further questions, whenever you need!
Best wishes!
