Suggest Treatment For Severe Dandruff

Hi, i have really bad dandruff prob. I try every shampoo and even xpensive also cant reduce dandruff. Then my friend said use antisaptic dettol 1 or 2 cup for short hair or more if long and thick hair for 1 time showerig only in 1 day. Then a next day going shower, use normal dettol soap (green). N reminder, dandruff will fall like crazy for a first few day. Then it will be less dandruff after. And i try, it does work. But the thing is, is it ok to use dettol everytime to shampoo hair?. I have no problem so far.

Hi dettol is not made for hair so do not use it to wash your hair. Use a shampoo containing an antifungal agent like ketoconazole. Your local pharmacist will be able to suggest you brands that are available in your area or you can find it online. Use this shampoo about two to three times a week for month any infection of your scalp will get cured. Then you can use any hydrating anti dandruff shampoo to keep away dandruff. Do not use soaps and dettol liquids as they can dry out your scalp and cause it to flake more in the future. I hope this helps. :)
