Suggest Treatment For Sciatica Pain In The Buttocks Radiating To The Legs

I have been diagnosed with degenerative disc disease, sciatica. It is affecing both sides from my buttocks, radiating down the sides of my legs. Here recently it has started affecting my groin on the left side of my body, which is where I have the most pain. I m 56 years old.

I have gone through your query. Sciatica can be managed efficiently. You can take muscle relaxants like tizanidine, NSAIDs like aceclofenac and neurotropics drugs like pregabalin and methylcobalamin. I would also suggest doing physiotherapy like TENS ,infrared therapy and muscle strengthening exercises after a short period of rest for 4 to 5 days. Sleep on hard mattress. Avoid sitting for long time. Wearing lumbar supporting belts is also good.
