General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Ringworm is caused by a fungal infection and would be treated by using antifungal creams.

It can sometimes take 2 to 3 weeks for improvement to occur.

Examples of antifungal creams are miconazole, ketoconazole, econazole

These may be available over the counter.

I hope this helps
