Hello,

Since your nostril is blocked, you are suggested to take steam inhalation, to soothe and open the nasal passages. It will thin the mucus and help it drain from the nose.

You can take antihistamines at bed time. Take warm beverages. Avoid smocking or taking alcohol.

You can use decongestants for two or three days, to relieve a stuffy nose and sinus pressure.

You are suggested to get X-ray PNS done to detect any deviation in the nasal septum that may cause you sinus problem & nasal blocking issues.

You will be treated according to the pathology detected & the severity of your symptoms.

Hope I have answered your queries. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K
