Suggest Treatment For Pressure In Abdomen And Pelvis During A Pregnancy

I'm 12 weeks pregnant. I did a lot of walking and lifting yesterday. I started having a heavy feeling in my abdomen, some back ache and leg ache. Today, I feel better but whenever I stand too long or try to do some work, I feel the pressure down in my abdomen/pelvic area. I don't have any other symptoms and no pain, just discomfort. And it gets better when I sit or lie down. Thank you! (this is my fourth pregnancy, I have 3 kids).

Welcome to HealthcareMagic,
As you are pregnant it is not advisable for you to do lot of walking or lifting. You can only do light household work. As you are in the 12th week of pregnancy it is normal for you to feel little pressure when you stand for along time and you will get relief on taking rest. This is normal and you have nothing to worry about. Take adequate rest and all the best.
Regards, Dr.Imaad.
