Suggest Treatment For Polyps And Swelling In Left Nose

My ENT doctor told me after reading my cat scan thet I have polyps and some swelling in my left nostril and nothing in my right and indicated that this unusual and may be indicative of some problem but would not say what. He is referring me to a sinus surgeon who he said could look at it closer under a microscope.What could he be referring to?

hello, thanks for your query, one sided polyp could be due to allergy , infection , granulomatous diseases or some growth. till one can see through nasal endoscopy and biopsy one can't diagnose the cause and prognosis of polyp. go ahead for ent consultation and scopy. all d best. take care.
