General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to a reactive lymph node. The most common cause is a viral or bacterial infection. The fever confirm the presence of the infection.

I suggest you to use anti inflammatory medication such as Ibuprofen three times a day to relieve the inflammation. I also suggest you to do a complete blood count for further evaluation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
