Suggest Treatment For Nausea And Vomiting

I am a female and will be 56 years old next month. I had migraines occassionally in my younger adult years. I haven't had one in years until this past Friday night. I knew it was coming on but was at a theatre production and couldn't do anything about it. It was very severe with anusea and vomiting. I also had shakes as in being chilled but didn't feel cold or have a fever. Any thoughts as to why this migraine might have occurred after so long a time without having one and are chills a symptom?
