Suggest Treatment For Nasal Congestion
Hi, i have a nasal congestion problem. I have been using Nasivion for now close to 8 yrs. I get congestion normally due to temp difference (cold office to hot outside) and once blocked i cant even breath. Could you suggest what to be done. ENT told that i need a operation due to bone enlargement in nasal passage.

Hi , thanks for the query.
Stop using Nasivion , if it is use for longer duration itself causes nasal congestion & blockage. This condition called rhinitis medicamentosa.
Start Steroid nasal spray with antihistamine with steam inhalation.
Do CT scan PNS & decide accordingly.
