Suggest Treatment For Mild Mucosal Thickening In My Ethmoid

Hi doc. I have been having a post nasal drip for about two to three years. Which comes with pain in the eyes, ears and upper apart of my right nose side. I just took a ct scan and the result shows a mild mucosal thickening in my ethmoid, maxillary and right sphenoid sinuses. Can you please explain it to me and how to treat it. Is it dangerous, cos the drip is consistent every day.

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Mucosal thickening what you are complaining of the para-nasal air sinuses is mainly due to allergic reaction. You need to avoid allergen which you are allergic to.
It can be treated by nasal steroid and mast-cell stabilizer sprays. Kindly consult ENT surgeon in this regard for proper management.
Hope the information provided is clear.
Wish you good health.
