hello doc..i m saurav....i have been suffering from mild fever and throat pain too...i was taking ciflox-500mg but now my family doc prescribed gudcef-cv 200 two times a day..but it has caused another problem of abdominal pain and gas...what should i do??

second line drug is prescribed to u .
it may cause gastric upset .
use PANTOPRAZOLE 40 mg daily before tiffin for a week .
this will relieve ur symptoms .
if infection is not subsided u can change to other group drugs like erythromycin 500 mg teice daily for 5 days
