I am on primulot for the last 18 days, iv to take it for 21 days. Then on my 2nd day of period- iv to take clomid for 5days. I'm just wondering what do I do if my period doesn't arrive? Do I wait a certain amount of days before I start the primulot again?
Primolut contains progesterone, which will help in regularization of menstrual cycles and after stopping the pills you will get the withdrawal bleeding.
But after stopping the tablets the period of onset of withdrawal bleeding may vary from person to person and cycle to cycle.
So, after stopping the tables you can wait up to 7 to 10 days and possibly by that time you will get the withdrawal bleeding.
Better not to start Primolut again without waiting for at least 10 days, because if you start the Primolut again the endometrium will not shed and you will not get the withdrawal bleeding.
Once you get the periods you can continue with clomid containing clomiphene citrate as advised by your doctor. Then track the ovulation with the follicle study and proceed accordingly.
