General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It is typical of lumbar stenosis. The stenosis or compression of the lumbar canal can cause compression of nerve roots and can cause symptoms.

Consult a spine surgeon and get evaluated. Drugs like gabapentin will be effective. In severe cases steroid injection may be tried.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain
