Suggest Treatment For Lower Hip Pain And Numbness In Legs

I have severe lower back/ hip pain on the right side. The only time there is relief is while I am sleeping. From the time i wake up until the time i finally get comfortable to fall asleep I am in pain. It hurts to walk and I cant bend forward backward or side side without a severe sharp pain. Something so simple as putting on pants or socks has become a scary task, It hurts even if i sit down too fast for shut my car door. Its frustrating and I dont know what to do. I have a little numbness in my leg. Ive taken tylenol, used heat and ice, and done stretches. I went to the ER tonight because I couldnt take it, the doctor spent less than a minute with me and said I had a muscle strain. It doesnt feel like a muscle strain. Ive had that before. I showed him where it hurt and he lifted my leg and that was that. I want another opinion
