Suggest Treatment For Loss Of Sensation In The Soles Due To Diabetes
My Dad is having Diabetes from last 34 years. He feel pain in calf muscles and feels very less sensation in his feet. when he walks he feels like he is walking in a comforters. And after wearing shoes he feels like he is walking in walking or jelly like substance.

Welcome to hcm, Short answer the loss of sensations and pain is due to diabetic neuropathy Detailed answer in diabetic neuropathy patient feel like pain numbness and tingling sensation in the foot.diabetic neuropathy is a complication of diabetes it occurs due to uncontrolled blood sugar.I will advice you to take a fasting and postprandial blood sugar test and consult your treating physician. One more advice from me is that you may need an increase in the dosage of your diabetic medication along with daily exercise and spacing between meals . I will add pregabalin along with diabetic medications.if the blood sugar is in control many patients may have an increase in the symptoms for that I add an nsaid for pain releasing hope that explains.
