Hello,

You have a minor cut on your right calf and thereafter leg pain. You are not diabetic. You have not mentioned since how long you have been suffering from the minor cut on the right calf. However, you are suggested to visit ER, get the area affected cleaned and antiseptic dressing done.

Make sure you get the cleaning and dressing re-done on every alternate day. You should rest until your symptoms improve. Raising the affected limb higher than your heart can also help reduce swelling and pain. You can take pain relieving medicines like Combiflam or Naproxen, one SOS when needed. You are having the 2nd round of antibiotics.

If your symptoms are persisting for more than 7 days you should get clinically examined by a GP, you may need intravenous IV antibiotic injections for better response and quicker healing. Neglect may lead to worsening of the symptoms like fever, chills, drowsiness, septic shock, etc. Control your blood sugar level though you may not be a diabetic. Get examined and treated at the earliest.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
