Suggest Treatment For Itchiness All Over The Body

Hi Doctor, I am referred to you by Mr. Firdosh Mehta who you successfully treated for severe allergy (itching) in the year 1972. My name is Khorshid Bellihomji and I am suffering from itching all over my body since 9 months. Have been to several doctors, skin specialist and allergist but no cure. Can you please help?

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of itchiness all over the body. Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to many reasons like sensitivity to sunlight, contact dermatitis can be caused by coming into contact beauty products chemicals and poisonous plants, side effects or certain medicines, allergic reaction, eczema and psoriasis. Need not to worry. Apply cold compresses to reduce the itchiness and inflammation. I would suggest you to maintain proper personal hygiene. You should take zyrtec once daily. You should consult dermatologist for proper examination. Doctor may order skin patch test , blood test , test fro allergy and physical examination . Doctor may prescribe corticosteroid ointment , antibiotics , anti inflammatory and immunosuppressants .
