HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

You may not need to go the hospital at the moment.

In addition to using the metformin, you need to modify your diet and activity. This means : (1) increasing your use of salads and vegetables
(2)decrease the use of desserts , sweets, normal sodas (use low calorie sodas), fruit drinks
(3)reduce carbohydrate portions
(4)increase your physical activity aiming to get to at least 150 minutes a week

If , with these changes, your levels are still high then you may need an increase in your metformin. The maximum dose is 3 g a day.
This should be done after speaking to your doctor.

I hope this helps
