Suggest Treatment For High BP And Cholesterol

I am 52 - weigh 177 - I am on Metformin for type 2 diabetes - Lisinopril for high blood pressure and Simvastatin for high cholesterol.
I do not recall taking my simvastatin last night, I fell asleep early, should I take it today or should I wait until tonight?

Hi, thanks for posting your concern in the HCM.
You should continue the medicine as per schedule. No need to have a double dose or change the time. But, please be compliant to take the medications regularly. Missing a single dose of simavastatin will not cause that much harm. But, if you miss it at frequent intervals its therapeutic efficacy may fail and it may also be harmful due to imbalance in the regulatory mechanism.
For any further query, please write back to us. Regards. Dr. Kaushik
