Suggest Treatment For Heart Palpitations And Dizziness

I get what feels like heart palpitations and at the time I feel light-headed and I want to lie down and rest. They don't last very long, but I am having them more frequently. The medication I am taking regularly is synthroid-.137 and I sometimes take Advil. I always seem to have burp or belch after an episode. And they happen a lot when I am eating.

Hello,

I would like to tell you that there are many reasons for heart palpitations and underactive thyroid gland is the cause for your palpitations.

You need to get your thyroid profile done to check if you require dose adjustments for Synthroid drug, and get an ECG and Echocardiography to exclude underlying heart disease.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhanu Partap
