Hello
This type of condition is known as asthmatic allergic bronchitis and predisposing factors are as mentioned : fine dusting powder, pollen, mold , pests ( cockroaches ) , humidity , sudden increase or decrease in temperature , hay , fodder , fumes , sprays , smoking .
These allergens cause inflammation of the nasal lining membrane .
This inflammation causes ;
Nasal itching, watery rhinorrhea, nasal obstruction, sneezing , post nasal discharge, stuffy nose . As you are allergic to paint , cement , dust , chemicals , so the best way is avoid these predisposing factors.
When such patient visit I advise them to take montelukast+levoceterizine tablet once or twice in day according to severity of allergy and symptoms .
Once relief , stop the drug , recurs , take .
Steam inhalation and hot coffee also provide relief because they acts as bronchodilators .
Hope this will help you.
