Suggest Treatment For Groin Pain In An Infant

My 1 year old has a very red groin area that is causing him pain. My dr. had prescribed Traimcinolone for the bad spot of his Egzima (spelling?) and I did use a little in the creases between his legs last night and all day today he has been uncomfortable.......I have been trying to keep him dry and clean and have been using Zinc Oxde cream, but not helping. He is obviously in pain.

Pediatrician, Pulmonology 's  Response
Hi...I understand your concern. I suggest you upload the image of the groin area of the infant on this website and get back to use please. I am suggesting this because - skin conditions are always best diagnosed and treated after direct visualization.

This is all the more important as the kid is not responding to a long acting steroid like Triamcinolone.

Hope this helps. Please get back to us as suggested.

Regards - Dr. Sumanth
