Suggest Treatment For Frequent Growth Of New Toe Nails On Old Ones

hello, both my big toenails have new toenails growing under then. this is the third time this has happened the old one grows out away from the cuticle then eventually I have to just peel it off because Its dead and begins to hurt then I have the new healthy nail. then when that one grows out a new one comes in under it. I wear the right size shoes and soak my feet about 2 times a day in Epson salt and warm water and they still do it. I haven t had any injury to either toes and I don t wear nail polish. I also do get ingrown nails to due to I have to peel the old nail away before the new one is completely grown out because it begins to hurt, any advice on what I should do?

Hi,

It's better to remove the partial nail and do a nail bed repair... that's why you have two nails growing because of the nail bed or matrix got injured.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
