Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Fracture of spinous process is generally innocuous and does not cause any pain or numbness in the legs, only local pain. If you have numbness or shooting pain, get a MRI of lumbo sacral spine and consult orthopedic surgeon.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Gopal Goel,
