Suggest Treatment For Fever And Sore Throat After Treated Strep Infection

my daughter was diagnosed with strep last monday and give antibiotics, she felt fine and running no fever unti this saturday. i checked in her mouth and her tonsils have white pus pockets on them. they werent there before now. she is also running low grade fever and complainging of stomach pain and throat hurting. does she still have strep and needs new meds? or what else could be going on?

Hello. Thank you for your question. I am sorry your daughter is not well. It is possible that she was reinfected, that the original infection was never gone, or that she developed a viral infection. If it is strep again, she would need to be retreated. I recommend consulting with your doctor so the direct diagnosis can be made and the appropriate treatment plan implemented.
