Suggest Treatment For Fatigue, Dizziness, Headache And Tachycardia After Eating
33 y/o male pt. presents with fatigue, dizziness, headache, tachycardia after eating, upper left and right ache pain with referred pain to back and lefts scapula and apex of the left superior shoulder. History of heavy drinking. After being unemployed for 2 months was consuming approx. 8-10 beers or a Pint of whisky almost daily or every other day. Sober x 3 weeks. Quit cold turkey. Hydrating vigorously and substituting vitamins with Gatorade. Was in the military for 5 yrs. 2 tours to Iraq. Dx. Ptsd. Tbi. IBS.
It seems to be in relation with possible metabolic derangement and electrolyte disturbances secondary to chronic liver issue after heavy drinking of alcohol. Though provision of vitamins help with vigorous hydration, he needs precise work up on lab panel with: - Complete hemogram - Serum creatinine, electrolytes - Liver function tests of SGPT, SGOT, Bilirubin - Electrocardiogram - 2D echo and stress test
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
