General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It seems to be in relation with possible metabolic derangement and electrolyte disturbances secondary to chronic liver issue after heavy drinking of alcohol. Though provision of vitamins help with vigorous hydration, he needs precise work up on lab panel with:
- Complete hemogram
- Serum creatinine, electrolytes
- Liver function tests of SGPT, SGOT, Bilirubin
- Electrocardiogram
- 2D echo and stress test

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
