I have crippling fatigue, lack of motivation and sex drive and sore boobs. My last period was 1 day and very very heavy. I m not sure what is wrong? I don t work, my boy is at nursery two mornings a week and I m happy in my life so its not depression but the fatigue is making me feel depressed as its stopping me from excercise, playing with my child and daily duties

Hi,

Definitely, a feeling of fatigue can be there at least for a short period, with presence of heavy periods. But, only this does not explain your problem. Definitely, these sound the symptoms of depression. Hence, in my opinion, you need some anti-depressive medicines or any other treatment under guidance of a psychiatrist. Even otherwise, you can have simultaneous treatment for your physical symptoms like fatigue etc. side by side with treatment of depression, if your doctor thinks a need for it.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
