Suggest Treatment For Elevated ALT Levels While Trying To Conceive

Hello my name is Ammara, my age is 32 I got married 5 months before. And me and my parter are not taking any precaution but still I am unable to conceive. My periods are regular. And we both have no medical issues, except my husband s sugar random is 140 and ALt/SGPT is 86. Please advise what should I do?

Hi Ammara,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Your partner's random glucose is borderline high. ALT is a liver enzyme which is increased due to liver dysfunction. It can get increased due to intake of certain drugs or more commonly due to intake of excess alcohol.
However, these issues should not come in way for you to conceive as they are not related to fertility problems. Sometimes, it may take between 6 to 8 months or even a year for couples to conceive.
Keep trying and time it properly during the fertile period as you do not have any other medical issues. It should happen soon.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
