Suggest Treatment For Diverticulitis

i have just returned home from a 5 day stay in hospital suffering from diverticulitis. i also had a bowel prep to relieve constipation.I was on clear fluids for 3 days and then moved to eating 2 dsays before coming home. during my last 2 days I did not have a bowel motion and I also suffered from quite severe lower abdminal cramps.these have continued for the last 2 days since I came home.Since I got home I have developed a problem of clear mucas like fliud coming from the anus.this mucas also comes with the 3 minor bowel motions i have since coming home.my problems are therefore severe abdominal cramps and the clear fluid. do you have any ideas that could help me. i am a 62 yo male. 102kg

Your query being appreciated, over all the given history and information about the clinical condition you have could be suggestive of some intestinal infection and it could be either protozoa or the bacterial some time may be both together, if I would be doctor of this case then I would try to treat this case with single dose of Sacnidazole 1 g and Tab Doxycycline 100 mg once in day for five days, for better diagnosis stool needs to be sent of culture sensitivity, hope this information helps.
