Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here... i m patient having a problem of amoebiasis problem from last 5 years. Recently i have undergone through colonoscopy .Report is normal but stll i m facing the problem re garding motions. Please help
First, should conclude you are not having amoebiasis. This can be confirmed through a stool examination for ova/parasites.
If colonoscopy is fine, should wait for stool examination report. Until you get the results, should take:
- probiotics to stabilize intestinal flora
- plenty of fluids with oral rehydration salts to replace the lost electrolytes
- Tasectan or Pepto Bismol to stop increased bowel motions
