Suggest Treatment For Deranged TSH Level In Thyroid Profile

I'm 33 and have been dealing with right upper quadrant pain for a while. I had an ultrasound and Decida scan of my gall bladder and both were normal. I had an EGD and was diagnosed with IBS-C.
Now I'm experiencing severe hair loss/shedding and my hair looks very thin and brittle. I also have dry skin and thin eyebrows, which I had both for several years.
My doctor tested my TSH level last week and it is 3.9. In 2010, it was 2.49 and in 2009, it was 2.09. She doesn't want to treat my thyroid and I'm at a loss for what to do next.

Hi,
Thanks for your question. I do understand your pain and discomfort. I have seen many cases with similar complaints. Please find my advice below-:
1)As per report TSH value is normal,So no drug change is required.
2)Also do T3 and T4
3)so take treatment for IBS which is managed symptomatically and very long time management is required.
some of the common causes of hair loss include family history, hormonal changes, patchy hair loss, scalp infection, certain skin disorders ,hair pulling disorders ,cancer medications, chemotherapy, excessive weight gain, hairstyle and treatments.

I hope I was able to address your query. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to write to me.
Wishing you all the best.
Thanks,
