Suggest Treatment For Cough

my husband had cabg 5 week ago...started bad cough since last week ... Doctors are saying his lungs are clear...last two days cough was very bad no sleep during night at all... doing steam inhalation...and deep breathing exercise..nothing help please tell me what to do

I can understand your concern.
Since his lungs are clear and coughing is more in night time, possibility of heart related cause for his cough is more.
Early heart failure can cause similar symptoms. He had CABG recently. So this can be the cause for heart failure.
So better to consult cardiologist and get done clinical examination, ecg and 2d echo to rule out heart failure.
If it is there then he needs diuretics and other supportive drugs.
Don't worry, he will be alright.
