Suggest Treatment For Cough, Runny Nose, And Chest Congestion

I have a cough, runny nose, and chest congestion. Its been 10 days and maybe a little improvement. How long does this last and whats the best way to treat it? I've been taking an over the counter cold relief medicine for cough, nasal congestion, and runny nose.

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi Welcome to HealthcareMagic forum .
If I were your treating doctor, I would treat your problem as upper respiratory tract infection. Use Macrolide Antibiotic azithromycin , Antihistaminic levocetirizine + Leukotriene antagonists Montelukast combination , antiseptic mouthwash , Plenty of fluids & Cough suppressant syp.
Certainly above treatment will give you much relief but if relief is not upto satisfaction level then consultation with your ENT doctor will become essential.
Hope this helps , Thanks.
