Hi dear,
This suggests
chronic constipation with
anal fissure.
This need regular treatment with laxatives for 2-3 months, along with diet modification. If treatment is stopped early after temporary relief, usually problem will recur.
I used to give laxatives like PEG or
cremaffin for 2-3 months, with dose adjustment according to response initially. After good response, we can gradually taper and stop.
Applying lignocaine jelly over the area 2 times a day, and analgesics like
paracetamol can relieve the pain. Resistant cases will need a baseline workup including
thyroid function, serum calcium or a contrast x ray. Kindly discuss with your paediatrician.
Meanwhile, give him a fibre rich diet(fruits, vegetables, whole grains, oats) and plenty of fluids.
Hope I have answered your query
