Hi. I have a concern with my daughter. She is 5 years old and has always been very healthy. She had only had a few colds and a couple of infections until September of this year. The first part of September she got sick with a sinus infection and was prescribed antibiotics. She has now taken four antibiotics in three months and I need to find out what to do. The antibiotics clear her up every time, but within a day or two of being off of them she is sick again. I would not have agreed to give her this many antibiotics, but every time we return to the doctor she still has an infection, either sinus, upper respiratory or her ears. Her syptoms are a hacking cough, a sticky, stuffy nose with dark, thick yellow/green snot and she is tired alot. She will wake up choking on the mucus and throws up almost every morning because of it. She has never had a fever through this and she feels fine other than being tired. I have tried triaminic, benadryl allergy, claratin and cough medicine and she can not get rid of this. Please let me know what I can do and if I should ask for any certain testing to be done. Thank you. -Robin
