Suggest Treatment For Cold And Flu-like Symptoms
Hi, my Father s has suffering from cold right now ang experiencing flu like symptoms, He has then external disease diagnosed long time time ago, He verbalized that He can t hear and feel loss of balance..what oral medications/otic drugs should i gave to Him?thank u and God bless

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have cold and flu symptoms which are pointing towards upper respiratory tract infection leading to common cold, which can be caused by bacterial or viral infection. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination . You should avoid smoking completely if you do that as it is exaggerating your symptoms. Doctor may order test like viral culture test , throat swab test and blood test to confirm the diagnosis and rule out causes. Doctor may prescribe anti bacterial amoxicillin or anti viral acyclovir depending upon the diagnosis along with decongestants. You should take steam inhalation along with vaporizers. Avoid hot, sharp , spicy food. For now continue doing gargles and drink one spoon of honey mix with glass of lukewarm water.
