Suggest Treatment For Bumps On The Forearm And Abdomen
My son has 2 pea sized hard spots under his skin (1 on his forearm & 1 on his abdomen). What could this be? He plays basketball & mentioned he was kneed during practice in the abdomen. The other one he has had for a couple of weeks but I felt like it was shrinking.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have bumps on the forearm and abdomen . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like hematoma , soft tissue injury or fracture . There can be other reasons also like lipoma , folliculitis or allergic reaction . I would suggest you to consult orthopedic surgeon for proper examination . Doctor may order CT scan , x-ray along with physical examination . Doctor may also refer you to allergy specialist or dermatologist . For now apply ice pack for first 48 hours , then apply warm compresses and take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain . Also take over the counter anti histamine like benadryl.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
