Hi,

The bruising certainly can be related to the active dance classes that is very very possible and recurrent low-level trauma to the area. A lack of pain is reassuring that there is no trauma here that is out of proportion to want I expect to see with 2-year-olds. Some options to consider here, obviously elevation of the legs can help resolve the bruising faster, compression with ACE wraps.

There is some benefit to applying ALOE VERA gel to the area and that can reduce any inflammation, and even children's MOTRIN can be useful to speed recovery. Her age limits really using anything stronger to help with the resolution. I do think that these are merely activity related and not related to anything serious. The constant activity will delay resolution of the bruising.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
