Suggest Treatment For Blood In Urine
My husband has quite a bit of blood in his urin and is also passing blood clots. He is diabetic. We went to a urgent care center yesterday and they said it was a urinary tract infection and gave him ciprofloxacn. We called back earlier today because of all the blood clots. They told us to give it another day. This evening there is quite a lot of blood and quite a lot of clots. Should we give it till tomorrow or go to the emergency room now. Is this a normal thing for urinary tract infections. Thank you.

I suggest waiting until 72 hours for the Ciprofloxacin to be effective.
If you don't see any improvements, you can go to the emergency room for further evaluation.
