Suggest Treatment For Blistery And Peeling Of Skin After Sunburn

I'm 18 years old, female, 5'4, 110 pounds. I have nothing serious in my medical history.
I got a sunburn on Sunday, and I've been taking VERY good care of it. On my face, on my cheek next to my nose, I don't know what happened(maybe itty bitty blisters) but there was a very dry patch that wasn't staying moisturized. What was happening was that it was coming loose because it was dead - not absorbing any lotion or anything.

Today, it peeled off completely which is fine, it doesn't hurt or anything and I'm not worried. But no new top layer has grown yet so it's a little pink and has that wet look to it when you peel something off too soon. I was wondering if anyone knew how to help the new top layer grow back faster because I do feel a little self-conscious of it.

Hi...thanks for sharing your problem on this forum....
No need to worry about..actually you have removed the scab so early that underlying epithelium was immature yet...
You have to do is to keep it clean and moist(apply polyfax)..as much as this area will be moist, healing will be quick...
Hope you are satisfied now...thanks

Hi....thanks for asking about your problem here on this forum...
You got sunburn but good thing is that its not much deep...
You have peeld off the scab too early...the readness is due to immature epithelium...but dont worry..
Wash it...use some ointment to make it moist...as then growth occurs quickly...when healed then you can do white petrolium jelly massage this will make the scar fad...if itching is there use antiallergic ..dont forget to use sunblock when going outin the sun...hope you will be ok soon...thanks
