I went to my obgyn and was only having problems with my bladder but he suggest having a laparascopic bilateral tubal ligation bipolar technique, ovarian cystectomy, hystenoscopy?, DNC, novasure, tension free vaginal tape, goturator approach (tvt-0). Now I previously had surgery in 2000 and had a complication to cmb when they removed my gallbladder. It has been repaired but am nervous about the laparoscopic procedure again for the tubal ligation and all the other procedures. Do I need a second opinion and cancel my surgery on 3/23/11? I dont know why my ob could not just do what I ask for which is to fix my bladder problem by inserting a sling under my urethra.
