Since last year you had glaucoma and cataract surgery and there were no symptoms means it is possible that the symptoms now may not be related to the eye surgery or sedation. The dizziness spells, disorientation, gases in abdomen might have been due to flu or any other such problems and needs a proper clinical evaluation and examination by your Physician and investigated accordingly. All this is more important in view of the recent surgery in the left eye as it can affect the outcome. Please remain admitted till well investigated and well treated. Also take an opinion of your Ophthalmic surgeon about the possible outcome.
