Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

First of all, please clarify where the swelling is? Is it in abdomen or in legs? Many causes are there for swelling like heartfailure or renal failure or anemia etcetera.

Until examination is done, it is difficult to say what it is. Please consult your physician who will check for cardiac, blood and renal profile and treat her accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
