Suggest Tests To Confirm Testosterone Levels

Hi,I'm 18 years old. I feel like my body isn't producing enough testosterone. My development has been very "slow." I'm in college now, and I look like one of the youngest kids. I barely have any hair on my legs, my body is extremely narrow like a young teen's, and my penis hasn't shown much development. I have armpit hair, but it isn't the same as everyone else's; their's is much more thick and the hairs are longer. Also, I barely shave. I probably don't even need to, but I do it sometimes to "clean up." I also have gynecomastia. All of this is so depressing, which leads me to believe that my body isn't making enough testosterone. Can I get some sort of testosterone supplement if I visit an endocrinologist? Thanks in advance

Hello,

You are just 18 and you will grow further and your body and body hair and body parts will grow further. Look around you and you will find many adolescent people of your age with your same kind of body features. That is normal and nothing to be alarmed of. If you want you can take the total testosterone test which measures testosterone that is bound to proteins in the blood with a doctors advise. Therefore I suggest consulting a physician for physical examination, diagnosis and treatment.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
