Genital herpes is also likely if vaginal secretions carried the infecting virus; the risk is more if the secretions touched penile mucosa (glans) rather than intact skin. Similarly, genital warts and Molluscum can be transmitted by skin to skin contact with infected skin surfaces on genitalia.
