I am a 64 yr old female who has had lumber stenosis (not from diabetes) for the past ten years. I am 115 lbs, an active bicycle rider and eat healthy foods. My aunt also has it, so I am thinking it is genetic. I had decompression surgery two yrs ago which eliminated the tingling in both feet but the numbness continues on the soles of both feet. My legs get painfully sore toward the end of the day, so supper time and beyond are always miserable times. If I do just my daily house chores, shopping, etc., this causes the soreness. Gardening is now out of the question now. If I take a lot of breaks during the day, reclining all the way back in my recliner, it helps ease the soreness. My question is, what supplements may help rejuvenate the damaged nerves. I ve read about Glutathione, nitric acid, R-lipoic acid A lipoic acid and coQ 10. I already take Vit B complex, vit D, Omega 3 plus prescription Horizant that lessen the effects of the nerve damage.
