Suggest Remedy To Reduce Dandruff In Hair


Hi, am using tugain 5 solution for past 15 days to reduce hair loss and increase hair strength as prescribed by the doctor. but dandruff is still lot in my hair. am using head & shoulders shampoo for every 3 days. should i consult with doctor...my heigh 5.8" & weight 70kgs % age 25 years

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that you are suffering from Seborrheic Dermatitis leading to dandruff and dandruff can also cause hairfall along with other causes and it is a potent cause of hair loss..

As you are using Tugain 5 solution, it contains Minoxidil and help in reducing hairfall and initiate new hair growth..

You can continue the same but you need to use medicated shampoo to reduce dandruff like those containing Ketoconazole, coal tar, salicylic acid, sulfide, Zinc,selenium etc..
Massage the scalp with steroid lotion..
Keep the scalp clean and free of moisture..
Take Multivitamin supplements..
